Kind of rare. You set the day/date by going past 12 o'clock like normal, then you have to go waaaay past 8 o'clock counterclockwise, then back to 12. Everything functions as it should. The dial has depth to it and looks like it was made with some kind of enamel. The bezel is Bakelite, bidirectional and not really centered. Zodiac is an AMAZING watch brand. Highly underrated.
