Shipping outside continental US additional charge. Zella Mae Wunderlich Dickinson (1895-1982), painter and art teacher, was born in Nebraska on March 12, 1895. She painted in oils, watercolors, acrylics, pen and ink, and woodcuts. Dickinson received her art training at Nebraska State University, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, California.Zella was a member of the California Watercolor Society, Women Painters of the West, the San Diego Artists Guild, the San Diego Watercolor Society, the San Diego Art Institute. She was a life member of the Laguna Beach Art Association. Her works were exhibited widely in group, and one man shows.Dickinson's works were also exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Pasadena Art Museum, the M.H DeYoung Memorial Museum, and the California Palace of Legion of Honor in San Francisco, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the San Diego Art Institute. Her works are included in private collections worldwide.
