Description: The only epiphytic cycad. Some grow on rocks but this one from the Caribbean side of Panama along the continental divide is a true epiphyte or hemisphere. Seeds germinate in the canopy of rainforest trees and grow on trunks and branches of large trees. This is a basket grower that get long arching leaves. My plants are seed grown.
