( custom gilded wood frame 56 x 81"). The original version of painting "The Rest After Battle. Vasily Terkin". (1951) was given as gift for Mao Zedong. In 1953 the second version was painted by Neprintsev for Kremlin. In 1955 hepainted the third version for the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow. Paintings by Yuri Neprintsev are in State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov Gallery, in the numerous art museums and private collections in Russia, France, England, USA, China,Japan, and other countries. Condition: Painting is in original condition. Its never been cleaned or lined. One inch tear, (barely visible) over part of a rifle. Small detail (snow) was carefully cleaned to see actual age.
