Description: No international shipping due to seeds are restricted by the USDA.Yukon Gold TPS= true potato seeds. These are true potato seeds/ offspring off the Yukon Gold potato plants. These are not potato tubers, they are tiny seeds you start indoors. Growing guide included with each order. These true seeds can grow a variety of different shapes and possible some coloring as these were open pollinated. Which could have crossed with purple or red potatoes in my gardens. Each seed will grow a new potato variety. Some are very nice, others you may decide to discard and not grow out the following year. The pictures are of some of the TPS that I grew out from the Yukon berries. The seeds in this listing came from the yellow skin, yellow/cream flesh tubers. TPS tubers are smaller in the first year, saving the tubers you like to grow out the following year will give you a full crop. These had good scab and disease resistant plants. Sow the small potato seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before expected last frost like you would start tomato seeds indoors. Sow seeds and cover lightly with potting mix. Keep moist while germinating. Once they sprout, water only when dry. They do not like to be moist constantly. Grown under grow lights for best results indoors. The seedlings are small, you will need to transplant at least once after first set of true leaves form. Bury stems up to top leaves like tomato plants. The stems get more roots and stronger once you transplant them and bury the stems. Transplant outside when risk of frost has passed. Grown organically in my garden each year and new fresh seeds harvested from the berries. Sold only in USA. This listing is for approx. 40 plus true potato seeds, these are seeds not tubers.
