Description: Here is a Yugoslavian Model 1924 Modified Bayonet Sword measuring 20.25" OAL with a blade length of 15". Blade is in excellent condition with ricasso showing a stamp, "20". Wood grips show some light wear marks. Excellent working press-stud mechanism. The scabbard is dent free showing some scattered pitting. Has a number just above the frog stud, "388". Back of the scabbard throat area is stamped with a triangle and the Kragiyervac markings. These normally had a muzzle ring on it when they were originally made in Belgium, Some countries had the ring made to different specification, Yugoslavia also removed the muzzle ring and converted these, thus the partial ears.
