Your New Plymouth 1931 Owner’s Welcome Booklet

Description: Up for sale is an original 1931* Your New Plymouth Owner’s Welcome booklet. This booklet still contains the three original referral post cards that Chrysler used to solicit potential customers. Book dimensions are 10 ¾ x 7 ½” or 27 x 19 cm. This item is in good condition commensurate with its age, however please read the notes outlined below. The cover is made of an almost suede feeling card stock (quite cool actually!) To note: 1. All pages are bound. 2. The back cover has pulled away from the binding at the bottom third of the page and the top 1/5. 3. The front cover has also pulled away from the binding at the bottom third (with a small tear also moving into the cover itself) of the page and the top 1/5. 4. The front cover at the middle of the top shows wear and micro-tearing. 5. The top right corner shows some crimping. 6. The booklet has a slight musty odour (actually quite reasonable). Please check all pictures for best idea of condition and use them to determine overall quality. I can combine items to save on shipping. Shipping to Canada and US only by tracked postal service. Thanks for looking. *Although there is no date on this publication there is a reference to and I quote “seven years ago the first product to bear the name Walter P. Chrysler was announced to the public.” This information would allow me to date the booklet to 1931-32 as we know that the first Chrysler product (the Chrysler 70) was introduced in 1924.
