Description: This holster was designed by me, to faithfully protect even my rarest and most costly box calls during my day afield. I have spent 45 years in the turkey woods. These holsters are made meet or exceed all the critical needs my 45 years of experience has seen as needing addressed. This holster was designed and prototyped a couple seasons back. The prototype holster travelled 7000 miles and securely carried prized hen box callers safely through some very forbidding Western terrain chasing Merriam's gobblers. It is handcrafted in Pennsylvania from super sturdy cowhide and feature heavy-duty stitching. To quote one satisfied, repeat customer, they are "Built tank tough". Also featured is a loop to fit belts up to 1 3/4", 4 strips of genuine sheepskin liner to protect from the inside, a 3-position retention strap and they are tastefully embossed strutting gobbler. This holster was designed to fit both large (Hudson-type) and small (Fulkerson-type) handled hen box turkey callers.......as well as other makers. Feedback and comments from happy customers then started to roll in that these holsters are ALSO a great fit for the Marlin Watkins and T.J. Johnson fiddle box !! Not what we set out to do on this one.......but we'll take it !! Although, I feel our short box holster is a better fit for the fiddle box calls, if you hunt both hen box and fiddle box.....this is your huckleberry. The holster pictured is holding a Hudson box in Pic 6, a Fulkerson box in Pic 7 and a Watkins fiddle box in Pic 8. These holsters are dimensionally identical. But each lot of leather, being a natural material, varies. The holster you receive may vary slightly in color and/or natural markings from the one pictured.
