Description: This Yamaha FG-140 "Nippon Gakki" Acoustic Guitar - Vintage 1971 Red Label has a warm, smooth, baritone sound, which I remember well as a kid listening to my friend playing a similar guitar at church. He owned a Yamaha FG-140 that looked and sounded exactly like this one! "Nippon Gakki" was the name Yamaha used for its acoustic guitar subsidiary until it made the decision to name everything they manufacture under the parent company Yamaha sometime in the early 1970s. IT DOES HAVE ONE FLAW! It is evident that there was a repair made to the arch that supports the neck onto the body. Please examine the pictures.
