This very nice looking timer is an application puzzle for me in that I see that it is very limited in the power (watts) it is able to control. The mains cable is only 18 awg and would severely impede the performance of any digital or analog audio device plugged in to it. It could be useful to control up to 400 Watts of lighting. For systems that have Remote Power Control Inputs, an appropriate voltage power supply could be controlled by this timer.
