Description: These are my custom made "Training / Trail" reins that have been upgraded with flared leather water loops, and Jeremiah Watt slotted stainless steel conchos! Made from premium double braided, round, polyester rope (not poly or mfp) in a 1/2" or 9/16" diameter. I use Herman Oake USA burgundy brown latigo leather for the flared water loop leathers, (also known as small slobber straps) and sturdy Weaver nickel snaps. I attach them with alum tanned laces that are spiral tied. These are a single, loop rein. The 10' length is particularly helpful when using Natural Horsemanship training, such as flexing and bending, and the one rein stop. 8' works great for barrels, trail and performance. The USA yacht rope is known for its heavier feel, and is soft, smooth and secure in your hands! Perfect for those with impaired movement or strength in your hands or fingers.
