Description: Here is an X-Plus flying form figure of Yoshimitsu Banno's notorious kaiju spawned of human pollution Hedorah as he was seen in Godzilla vs Hedorah (1971). A controversial entry in the Godzilla series, it is also the most experimental in its use of psychedelic visual schemes, narrative interruptions by animation shorts and multi-screen effects, and a decidedly discordant musical score. The fact that it was perhaps the first commercial film release preoccupied with humankind's destruction of the planet and its militant tone makes it one of my favorites in the series. So much so that I am screening it as part of an eco-horror festival in Chicago April12th-13th as the pictured flyer shows! This statue brings us an amazingly detailed replica of Hedorah in its flight form. The diorama base is included to suspend it in midair, and it's carefully sculpted and painted to accurately reproduce its appearance in the 1971 film.This Non Articulated PVC State Measures Approximately 9" (H) by 10.5" (W) by 15" (D).
