Description: This huge drum is 36" tall, about 16" x 15" wide/deep, and weighs about 41 lbs. 2 oz. (hard to get an exact number for this size). Also included is a 14.5" handcrafted drumstick. One side of the drum has a handle near the top, which I did not include in the measurements. There are some hairline cracks in the wood, but the drum still has a deep, booming sound. The rawhide bottom has some scratches and scuffs, and a few random paint spots on the side. The wood has some flaws, most of which look to be from when it crafted. This is the only of the five drums I purchased that has a stamp on the side from Taos Drums, and also a 2 stamped right above it. This is one of five large/extra large drums I have for sale that came from an estate that still had a big inventory from when they had a southwest decor store, selling drums, pottery, wood carvings, southwest prints, etc. Based on the style of everything, it would have been late 80's or early 90's. Each drum is one of a kind, handcrafted out of a hollowed out log with rawhide stretched over the top and bottom and tightened with rawhide strands. They can be used as drums, but are large enough to be used as unique side tables. The shipping cost will be extremely high, due to size, weight, and also will be shipped double boxed and insured with signature confirmation.
