Description: This is a very fine World War II British Pattern Army Air Corps Air Gunners wing that is in excellent condition. The wing is full size and measures 3⅛ inches from wing tip to wing tip. The central winged bullet and target are affixed to the wing as a separate piece that is firmly held in place by a single peened rivet on the reverse. The wing is extremely well struck and exhibits the distinctive British fletching to the wing feathers. The reverse is with swing pin and roller locking catch assemblies both of which remain functional. The reverse exhibits a semi-hollow stamped construction and is without markings. The silver is now with a very attractive age toned patina. A beautiful looking wing that remains in excellent, undamaged condition.8935
