Description: This is an Excellent condition, guaranteed original Hart M2 flash hider. This item has zero rust anywhere. It has some minor finish loss which has resulted in a very nice light brown patina on the cone similar to what I have seen on old WWI Colt 1911's. There is one very small scratch on the cone and no dents. Overall a VERY NICE item. As shown in the photos this is marked with the "H" in Diamond. "Hider Flash M2" & "The Hart MFG Co." This is guaranteed original and correct. I have had a large number of these in my collection for a very long time and this is one is exceptional. These are only getting more scarce and increasing in value. The CMP is continuing to sell M1 Garands but they have not sold any of these in a very long time. You can buy a cheap chinese reproduction but it will not increase in value. This one has and will continue to do so. This will fit any standard M1 Garand with a bayonet lug.
