Description: RARE WWII German Death Card, "Stabsgefreiter in the GERMAN WEHRMACHT" KIA in Eastern Prussia in March 1945, 6 WEEKS BEFORE WAR ENDED DESCRIPTION: RARE original WWII German Death card for a soldier in the "German Wehrmacht", who was KIA in March 1945, just 6 weeks before the end of the war in East Prussia.Specifically, "Mr. Matthaus Winterholler, stabsgefreiter "IN THE GERMAN WEHRMACHT, who was killed in action on March 13, 1945, aged 32, in Lank, near Heiligenbeil, in East Prussia.." Nice image of him in uniform and peaked hat. This card puts a name and face and story to a soldier who would otherwise just be a forgotten statistic. Card is in very good condition overall. I follow ebay's rules strictly, and no bids will be accepted from Germany, Austria, or any other places where it is unlawful to ship to.I try to collect and sell only unique and higher quality WWII and WWI soldier memorial cards rather than the more common ones usually seen on ebay. Please see my auction list for other unusual ones!! SHIPPING TERMS:Buyer pays $5.00 shipping in the US, $8.00 outside. No additional postage for multiple purchases if shipped together.
