M27 Knife Bayonet ONLY Manufacturer: Hackman & Co. Model: M27 Blade Length: 11.75" Serial #: 64 TEXT GOES HERETEXT GOES HERE --> Offered here is a Finnish M1927 Mosin Nagant rifle M27 bayonet. Scabbard is NOT included. The M1927 was the primary service rifle of Finland during the WWII era and was used during both the "Winter War" and the "Continuation War". This was made by Hackman & Co. which eventually merged with Fiskars Company. It has a slightly curved crossguard. Overall, this bayonet is in Fair - Good condition, considering its age and history. We gave it this rating because one side of the bayonet has rust, while the other side is unaffected. The press catch is functional with very stiff spring tension. The catch and mortise area have light oxidation. The pommel and guard are securely fastened to the tang. They have light impact marks and scrapes. The right side has a lot of oxidation. The rivets securely fasten the wood grip panels. They have light oxidation. The grips have compressions and draglines. The right side grip by the pommel has a 1/2" crack. They have darkened with age. The spine, fullers and sides have light scrapes. The right side blade has a lot of oxidation. The blade edge has no nicks or dings and appears to have its original factory edge. The tip is intact and comes to a semi-sharp straight point. The blade is in the white. The left ricasso is marked "HACKMAN & CO." and the rear of the pommel is marked with the serial number "64". The scabbard is NOT included. This bayonet will be a great addition to your Finnish rifle, or a bayonet collection in general.
