BOX HAS AN INDICATOR LIGHT, KEYING SWITCH AND THREE TOGGLE SWITCHES FOR THE RED, GREEN AND AMBER RECONITION LIGHTS LOCATED ON THE UNDER SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE LIGHTS WERE USED WHEN RETURNING FROM A MISSION TO INDICATE THE DAYS CODE/LIGHT SEQUENCE OR COLORS TO ALERT AIRFIELD CONTROLERS THAT "FREINDLY" AIRCRAFT WERE RETURING OR COULD BE "KEYED" TO SIGNAL IN MORSE CODE OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
