Description: Double sided silk map of Siam (Thailand) and Malaya (Federated Malay States),For age and use this map is in collectors' condition, some fraying and folding marks, but would great in a nice frame. These maps were used by aircrew members in 1944 for E&E instead. of paper because of climate conditions, etc. These maps could also be used as neck scarfs and when soaked in muddy water to look like a rag if captured, then when needed washed out and used.
