Description: WW2 Royal Norwegian (Army) Air Force RNoAF Officer's Cap Badge - Reproduction PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for the cap badge in the first photo only. It does not include the silver wings or SD cap. I have now made nother, improved run, of these very rare badges. You will receive the badge in the first photo, a high quality reproduction of the incredibly scarce Royal Norwegian Air force officer's cap badge, worn throughout WW2. These were made in several different versions with the centre being either felt, gathered ribbon or the enamel roundel. This one has the gathered ribbon type. Embroidered with silver white bullion thread on a low padded felt background. You can add your own pair of wings by cutting two holes on the top of the badge and securing with a pin. The badge can then be stitched to the outer band on the SD cap. Perfect for re-enactment / living history or just to fill a place in a collection to display an original set of wings. Measures 70mm wide by 70mm in height, reproduced from an original in Norway. This is being sold without the silver wings, as a suitable replica of those has not yet been produced.
