Published 1918 by Berger-Levrault, written by exiled German and Conscientious Objector Rosemeier Hermann. 10pp pamphlet appealing to the French war effort with the inclusion of printed handwritten notes. A unique perspective written by German philosopher and Journalist Rosemeier Hermann, who edited the Newspaper Berliner Morgenpost until his refusal to participate in the propaganda campaign in 1914 led to his exile from Germany. From then on he supported the French war effort, publishing this pamphlet in 1918 appealing to the French to fight harder. One excerpt reads: "WHAT WOULD FRANCE EXPECT IF GERMANY WERE VICTORIOUS" Open letter from an exiled German to the French People "People of France! You don't hate enough! Your hatred is not fiery enough, not fervent enough! People of France! You don't yet see clearly enough what awaits you in the case of a German Victory. You still have illusions." Overall an interesting and unique perspective of the French war experience, as well as a peak into the thoughts of a German Conscientious Objector.
