Description: This mola is a knock-out from the mid- late-1960's. In fact, one of Tom Hannaher's molas bought in the 60's by cartographer Kit Kapp, very similar to this, just sold on eBay. It was collected in the 1960's. I don't know if the design represents something in particular or is just abstract. The care, patience and skill that produced it is mind-boggling though. It does have some sun-fading; I'd be surprised if it didn't. Measuring about 15x19, it could fit comfortably in a readymade 16x20 frame. U.S. buyers only please. [Boston Primitive]The uneven lighting in my photos is just that: uneven lighting. The mola itself doesn't have light and dark sections; it is uniform overall.
