Together with the Pantagrueline Prognostication, the Oracle of the Divine Bacbuc, and Response of the Bottle. Hereunto are Annexed the Navigations Unto the Sounding Isle and the Isle of the Apedefts: as Likewise the Philosophical Cream with a Limosin Epistle All Done by Mr. Francis Rabelais, translated into English and with numerous illustrations by W. Heath Robinson, including a frontispiece. It was published by The Navarre Society, of London, in MCMXXXI (1931). A literary masterpiece featuring fascinating characters living life in a world of magic, mystery, adventure, and boundless fun. Loose yourself in the wacky world brought to us by the pen of Francois Rabelais (1483-1553). The book measures 9.1 inches x 6.5 inches x 2 inches thick! and has 462 pages (including illustrations), which are gilt edged to the tops and hand-cut to the side and bottom rims. The book is in good, internally clean and neat condition for its age, with minor wear/bumps to the original cloth hardback cover.
