Description: Offered is a wonderful Highland Mary Doll made by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, the shoulder head is only marked with the number 12. She has Highland Mary style molded hair. It is a large head. She came to me on a cloth body that I had to throw away as the lower part of the body had mold spots and I could tell it went into the interior stuffing. She was approx. 23" tall on that cloth body, so would need a body that is approx. 18 to 19" tall.The head is in beautiful condition but does have a slight flake on her upper eyelid, see magnified picture. The eyes were reset at some point in her life, but are the original brown blown glass eyes. Beautiful modeling of her hair and wonderful coloring of her bisque and closed mouth.
