The set consists of two open salts, two shakers, and two spoons. The salts and shakers are made from 950 purity silver, higher in purity than sterling which is 925. The set is emulating English Queen Anne style pieces from about the 1710s, with the shakers done in a classical balustroid form, and the open salts standing on three cabriole legs ending in pad form feet. The spoons are a marriage, but match the classical form of the salts and shakers beautifully. All the pieces are spotlessly clean. This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. Any black you see in the photos is merely reflections that are hard to avoid when photographing shiny silver, and do not represent damages or problems of any sort. Each salt and each shaker is marked on the underside with the Ensko mark as well as 950/1000 for the purity of the silver and the number 1736. The spoons are marked sterling and with a maker' mark of L. Each shaker is about 4 1/2 inches tall. Each salt is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and stands about 1 3/8 inches tall at the rim.
