Description: I have an outstanding black velvet shoulder bag that is heavily embroidered. The bag features gold bullion embroidery in a diamond pattern. The center of each diamond has a bullion embroidered flower with a center cabochon stone that looks like a moonstone. There are 14 stones on the front and 3 more on the back. You can see in the photos how 3 dimensional the embroidery and the stones look. This bag is unbelievably luxurious! The back of the bag also has a small embroidered motif that has 3 moonstones too. It is lined with back satin, and the interior pockets are edged with gold binding. Based on the style of embroidery, I would say that this bag was made in India. It measures 8 inches wide by 7 ½ high. My late mom collected purses for over 40 years, and I'm continuing to go through her many, many boxes. Condition: Excellent condition in every way!
