Description: This sheepskin coat from the 1970s is a beautiful example of classic style and expert craftsmanship from Glastonbury, England. It has a dark brown chocolate hue and traditional features, including long and curly wool on the whole internal side of the jacket, wide lapels and cuffs, a stand-up collar, and a mid-length cut, with a classic four-button single-breasted closure. The genuine 100% wool underside is luxuriously soft and has a heavy-weight shearling providing both comfort and warmth. The collar can be worn high and fastened around the neck to offer added protection from the elements, providing a timeless and classic look. This coat has undergone specialist dry cleaning, leather reconditioning, and hand finishing to ensure it arrives in the described condition. It is in near excellent vintage condition, with a professional stitch and patch repair made to the left underarm, which is difficult to notice due to being in the underarm area. We have perfectly matched the colour to blend in. Please view the last two images. As with all natural hides and skins, expect to see some light and minor imperfections, including scarring, branding, stitching, small patch repairs, and occasionally pit marks on the back of the hide. This is entirely natural and should not be viewed as a defect.
