The toe has a nice tapered rounded point and is reinforced inside. The insole is mildly padded. They were made specifically for sale at Target in state of the art facilities in China. Due to their new technology, these boots deliver exceptional quality for the price. Even though they say man made textile, the faux suede is so rich and luxurious. They are minimally lined on the inside. The shank is rounded to fit your calf, and made to fit snug. There is a little elastic at the top to give some freedom of movement. I would use these as riding boots or every day, casual to dressy, work or play boots. We hope that you will love them. These are a women's size 6. They look like a true full size 6.
