Description: Wm Guerin Limoges Hand Painted Plate Iris Floral Raised Gilt Artist Signed An elaborately hand painted and gilt gold decorated William Guerin Limoges cabinet/display plate. Signed by the artist ( Macay?) the center spray of florals features a beautiful bearded iris with mums, asters and small blossoms in an array of blues, yellow, pink and orange. The rim surrounding the floral spray is a soft peach with gilt over the peach. Outer rim is a lush, deep burgundy red with teal and blue raised enamel florals and fine gilt net effect with scrolls. A perfectly lovely plate and in very good condition with no damage or repairs. Gold and enamels are in beautiful condition. The back is marked with the Guerin Limoges mark in green used from 1901 to 1932. It also has a name or a saying " Fruank opaques" . Please view the photos!
