Description: Here we have a studio portrait cabinet card of two young, remarkably built-like-barrels, priests/members of the clergy. Two peas in a pod -- must be brothers. According to Wikipedia, Winona had an influx of 5,000 Polish and Kashubian Catholic immigrants in the latter half of the 19th Century, who came together to build a Polish/Kashubian church of their own in 1871 in Winona, the Church of St. Stanislaus. We have lots of cool vintage and antique ephemera at every price point in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Identification: only the studio is known -- De Guire, 209 & 211 E 3rd Street, Winona, Minnesota Approximate Measurements: please see photos with rulers Condition: Photo itself is in excellent antique condition with light wear. The card part isn't actually a card at all, but paper -- very light, lighter in weight than modern-day construction paper. Not surprisingly, it has substantial wear, as clearly evident in the photos. Nothing sticky or otherwise gross, and no mildew, smoke or other funky odors. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us. Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera. Most pieces are sent in envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as Priority or first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care. The Fine Print: We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message. We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
