(Zoot suits were outlawed in 1943 due to the war. They were worn by latinos, and are great for swing dancing, and the jitterbug. They came out of the harlem dance halls in the mid-1930's. Cab Calloway popularized the Zoot suit. This is considered the only totally and truly American civilian suit).This adult L44 costume was professionally dry cleaned between rentals and should on dry cleaned. You are "ready to go" since this purchase includes the pants (R44 P37), shirt (L 34/35), tie, hat, & the lined coat(wig & socks not included). It is truly in excellent condition.
