Description: The Windy HBG bag gloves are a superb line of gloves from Windy featuring nice padding, high-grade and thick leather, and overall great construction. These gloves are mainly intended for use on heavy bags, though they can also be used for various pads and mitts, and light bags. These should not be used for sparring or any kind of person-to-person contact. They provide excellent pop and feedback on heavy bags, banana bags, etc. Protection is good for the style, but is not comparable to bigger types of training gloves, nor meant to be. These types of bag gloves are traditionally used to strengthen hands and wrists, and allow a fighter to develop correct punching form and technique, without much "assistance" from more restrictive training gloves. Windy HBG bag gloves of Regular size are large enough for users who regularly train with 14-16oz gloves, especially since they're intended to be used without wraps. Heavy bag gloves should fit somewhat snugly, to help keep the hand/fist tight when not wearing wraps. After a bit of break in and use, thinner wraps can be used if preferred.
