Overall Length of the Tang Screw is 1.820 inches. Tang screw may need to be shortened on some models. The tang screw is slightly tapered. It measures 0.223 inches just beneath the head, 0.210 inches at the start of the threads and the threads are 0.207 inches.Rear sight mounting screw thread is 12 - 28 and the forward mounting screw thread is 3/16 - 36.
