Sleeve is graded: Good + condition because the opening of the sleeve is bowed outward slightly and is yellowed where the cellophane protected the rest of the sleeve before it was removed. Please see photos of actual item on offer! A FRENCY IMPORT LP of WILLIE MABON’s Shake That Thing on the Black & Blue label (33545). Mabon moved from Tennessee to Chicago when he was 14 years old. He wrote and recorded a series of successful singles; I Don’t Know, I’m Mad, Poison Ivy, & Would You Baby. After several successful tours, Mabon took a job as a truck driver in 1967—returning to music in 1971. He was a hit on The Chicago Blues Festival Tour—during which this record was cut. A great singer, songwriter, pianist, and harmonica player. The band on Shake That Thing consists of Willie Mabon on piano & vocals.
