Previous owners intricate bookplate attached to inside front covers. Limited edition, numbered 974 of 1,000 sets. Illustrated with black and white, and color engraved frontispieces, and two tone full full page illustrations. Undated, but circa 1895. Condition: Near Fine. Books do not appear to have been read. Red leather has some slight variation in color, as expected with old dyed leathers. Some bindings were cocked (most likely stored on their backs at some point, but now they are stored right side up, and that should soon dissipate.
