Description: Here's something you don't see every day, the first (American at least) publication of Hodgson's classic "Out of the Storm". Bound issues of Putnam's Monthly and the volume is filled with interesting articles, drawings and photos. Some of the names. Edgar Allan Poe, Joseph Conrad, James Oliver Curwood, even an article on Sir Frederick Treves, and if you've seen The Elephant Man you know who he is. Many many more, probably a sleeper or two that got by me. The book is in remarkable shape, although the spelling on the spine states "Putman's". Little give to the binding, but the pages are clean and it really is in good condition, especially since bound volumes of this type end up in libraries and get pawed by people who should know better. This, thankfully, is not from a library. Thanks for looking! Will be shipped media mail so please give it time to get there. I mail either on the day purchased, or the next day. If you need to know any information on anything specific, please ask, I will do the best I can. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions for some great bound volumes of pulps, some Arkham House and Weird Tales authors, Centipede Press, Robert E. Howard, H. P. Lovecraft. Thank you! Paypal only.
