Description: William F Buckley (1925-2008) was an American journalist, author and intellectual, best known as the founder of the National Review and the host of Firing Line. He wrote 50+ books, including a series of 11 novels involving a fictitious Cold War CIA agent named Blackford Oakes. Who's On First is the 3rd of these novels. In this one, Oakes is sent to Hungary during the 1956 Hungarian Uprising. This is a stated first edition. The dust jacket has a little bit of shelf-wear—condition is shown, but it was white, so it has yellowed quite a bit. The book is pristine; it appears to have been read to page 5. Someone dog-eared it, then didn't go back to it. There are no marks of any kind in it or on it. Note: I have two other first editions from the Blackford Oakes series listed here on eBay: The Story of Henri Tod, and High Jinx.
