Description: Marian Ellis Rowan (30 July 1848 4 October 1922), known as Ellis Rowan, was a well-known Australian artist and botanical illustrator. This is her scarcest printed title and it features full page illustrations of wildflowers such as: California Poppy, Monkshood and wild honeysuckle. This copy has some significant damage to the cover (as can be seen in the photographs). The first page pulls away slightly from the spine of which I have also attached photos of. As can be seen though, the printed pages are in excellent condition. Another copy of this book is listed on Abe books for 3850US (in better condition). I am open to offers on this title.
