All products have phytosanitation certificates. This product is very dry and is not like most sea moss that you have seen. It takes a very little amount to make each batch of gel. Due to the fact that this is not like commercial sea moss it requires different preparation method to make your gel. Please follow the listed preparation directions for optimum results. Place the sea moss in a covered glass jar/ container for 4-24 hours. Pour enough distilled or alkaline water to cover the sea moss initially, after an hour or more add up to an additional 3oz of water as it will absorb a lot of water. Drain and reserve the water. (Visit you tube for many videos on the uses of the sea moss water) replace with boiling water and let sit covered for a few hours or overnight in the fridge. Drain and place sea moss into a strong blender and a little of the water from your sea moss blend thoroughly until a “gel” like consistency appears (add more water a little at a time if it is not enough to fully blend product) and continue blending until you get a smooth gel. I usually take a minimum of 1 Tablespoon per day. Add directly to shakes, food, soups and salads or any way you prefer. Look up traditional Jamaican sea moss drink for recipe ideas.
