Description: I believe this was a 1932 "Letter/Document" box handmade by a gentlemen with the initials "C.H." and is marked accordingly. The box itself is in very good, very nice condition for its age. There is a latch that would allow it to be locked. The hinge only has one nail/screw in it when there should have been three. I don't know if this was added later or at time it was made. Also, there is a chip out of one of the corners which could be repaired if you are a handy woodworker (I am not). There is also a ring on the top for a bottle or can of some sort. It measures 17" long x 10 1/4" wide x 7" tall. Weighs approximately 5 lbs.
