Description: A vintage Whiting and Davis metal mesh handbag in the style of Paco Rabanne. In excellent vintage condition, this bag shows only minor signs of wear consistent with its age. The brassy gold zip closure is in perfect working condition. Lined in a bronze silk material, the inner compartment features a side pocket and the brand's trademark tag. There's a small stain near the zip closure (see image #12) and faint pen marks at the bottom of the bag. The chain strap is adjustable and can be worn long (single strap) or short (double strap). The metal mesh material is a rusty red tortoise shell with with minor surface scratches. The scratches are minimal, barely noticeable because of the pattern, and only add to the historical value of the bag. This style likely dates from the 1960s or 1970s.
