Description: This is the most desired and smallest coil made by White's for their detectors. It's the very popular and hard to find White's Eclipse 6" Ellip Eclipse coil and new cover. This coil and cover have never been used. The 6" DD coil goes to many of White's higher end detectors. In my 45+ yrs of swinging metal detectors, I've learned one thing over and over and over. An old iron infested trashy site is never fully hunted out. The other thing I have learned as being a multi line dealer for 25+ yrs...the majority of detectorists only use the stock coil that comes on their detector. Time after time, my Field Staff and I have went to old Railroad Sites, Stage Coach stops, old burned down ghost towns in the gold country and seen square nails, rusty tin cans and trash everywhere. Those are our preferred search areas and we immediately put on the smallest coil for our detectors. A small coil sees less ground under the coil so there is a greater chance of an old artifact or coin being found that is right next to a piece of iron or tin. A small coil also has a more accurate ID on the detector screen for proper target ID. 6" DD Elliptical is designed to be used to get best performance over the stock 950 round coil in many situations.- 6" Ellip coil runs smoother and more quiet when detecting salt water beaches.- 6" Ellip coil is designed to be used in more mineralized soils when hunting for gold nuggets and Prospecting- 6" Ellip coil will go deeper on smaller gold than stock 950 coil.- 6" Ellip coil is more sensitive to smaller nuggets vs larger stock 950 coil that sees to much mineralized soil. - 6" Ellip coil is better at getting into rough terrain such as cellar holes.- 6" Ellip coil is great for hunting around bigger rocks and in brush/logs/roots where gold nuggets like to get caught.- 6" Ellip coil is easier to pinpoint the target using the Heel/Toe method vs stock 950 round coil.- 6" Ellip coil is better at older sites with a lot of iron nails, staples, trash as it separates good targets from bad.. better than stock 950 round- 6" Ellip coil can ignore hot rocks and cold stones better than the stock 950 concentric coil.- 6" Ellip coil has less EMI issues vs larger stock 950 coil.- 6" Ellip coil is lighter in weight so you can swing it longer.
