When he was killed in the line of duty, his amulet passed to Angela, who had recently graduated Quantico to become an agent of the FBI. Deciding to pick-up her uncle's mantle, Angela forged her own alliances with DAREDEVIL and BLACK WIDOW, who helped to train and prepare Angela for her new role. Marvel's 2007 Six-Issue Limited Series, White Tiger, picks up here. With Marvel Studios' Daredevil Born Again series primed to begin on Disney+ in March 2025, the debut of several new characters have fans and collectors excited. Among the confirmed first appearances in Daredevil is Hector Ayala's White Tiger, although the size of his role remains unknown. However, that it does remain unknown likely suggests that Ayala's role is small, and may indeed set him up to be one of the series' first casualties. Ayala, after all, is not, like his niece, historically associated with Daredevil. His death opens the door and provided the motivation for Angela to follow in his footsteps, either later in the Daredevil series or in a future Marvel project like Young Avengers.
