Description: Large Format Glass Slide (Magic Lantern Slide) Size of slide: 3 1/4" X 4" (3.25 inches X 4 inches). Metric: 8.25 cm by 10.16 cm. (outside dimensions) This is sometimes called an "American sized" slide. Please zoom in and examine pictures closely. Typical condition for a slide of this age, unless mentioned in the item condition above. The slide may need to be cleaned. It can have abrasions to the glass and problems with its binding tape (the tape which holds the glass sheets together), aged or torn labels, and other age-related conditions. Labels often show up slightly darker in photos than in the actual slide, and the coloring/shading and focus of the slide is hard to get perfect in the photos. There are sometimes labels on the reverse side which do not show up. The image could be mirrored from the actual scene.
