Description: Belgian Original 1940's Re-Release Movie Poster On Back Of Map - When's Your Birthday (1937), Joe E. Brown, Marian Marsh, Fred Keating, Edgar Kennedy, Margaret Hamilton, Harry Beaumont, Romantic Comedy, Astrology, Gambling, Prizefighter Here is an original Belgian movie poster from a 1940's re-release of Lloyd Bacon's comedy about evading the WWI draft based on a successful 1929 Broadway musical, When's Your Birthday. Some shady characters discover that a sad sack nightclub bus boy (Joe E. Brown) has the ability to predict outcomes of races and other events through astrology. While original prints of this film had a cartoon sequence in Technicolor directed by Bob Clampett and Leon Schlesinger, most surviving prints (including the Internet Archive) have the sequence in black-and-white. This poster is 1940's re-release of the film in Belgium shortly after the end of the war in Europe. It is printed on the reverse of an ordnance map in the smaller immediate post-war format. It is in very good condition for its age with only an irregular horizontal fold and rarely comes up for sale or auction. DESCRIPTION: When's Your Birthday (1937) - David L.
