Disclaimer Car Uses Studs Car Uses Bolts PCD Clearance Centerbore Clearance Prior to purchase of the spacer, you will need to read this information that may be is regarding to your vehicle. Any custom made purchases or orders will not be refundable as the spacer will only be made to suit YOUR car and YOUR wheel. Depending on the issue, we are open to negotiate and come up with a relatively reasonable solution. You will always have to confirm the spec with us, otherwise we cannot machine anything for you. Unless the description already have fixed detail on the spacer. If you are unsure of any of this information please let us know, we can go deeper into detail with you. If your car uses lug nuts (stud extrude from hub to tighten wheel down), you will need to know that if your studs is protruding out by 28mm and you are buying 15mm spacer, you will have 13mm extrusion from the surface of the spacer which might stop the wheels from sitting flat against the spacer refer to photo below. Thus if you get 30mm spacer, you definitely don't have to grind anything for sure. We will supply spacer nuts according to your car's stud, and insert studs according to your car's. If your car has M12x1.25 studs. We will provide M12x1.25 Spacer Nuts and M12x1.25 Studs into the spacer. This will allow you to use the factory lug nuts to tighten the wheel down. If your car uses lug bolts (threaded insert into the hub to tighten wheel down), that means you may need spacer bolts to secure the spacer onto your hub. The spacer bolts we have (sold separately) hex head is a little bit taller than the spacer for 15mm ref to photo below. It will be flush if the spacer is 20mm plus. ref to photo below. some cases where the wheels have gap in between the stud holes, hex head can perfectly sit in there, but only some cases works. For this set up if you want to use your factory lug bolts to tighten the spacer down, you might end up having the either grind the hex head down to stop any protrusion. ALSO the thread that surpass the hub might come to contact the hand brake mechanism or braking plate, this means the bolts is too long, you will have to grind the excess thread away to stop it from hitting the hand brake mechanism. If you are looking to change the PCD of the car to different PCD you will have to make sure the clearance at the back of the wheel allows you to commit this changes. Sometimes if there is a rebate or recess on the back of the wheel, does not mean there is enough clearance, usually if the stud pattern is changed dramatically (eg. 5x100 to 5x120) then there might be an issue. With Stock Bolt, in this wheel there is just enough rebate to allow the hex to sit in it, if there isn't a rebate you may need to get thicker spacer or grind down the hex head or get low profile hex bolt. Spacer shown is a 15mm spacer. For this specific rim there is a very deep rebate spacing, therefore will definitely have enough clearance for higher bolt. This rim has very shallow rebate (almost no rebate), the hex head will contact the wheel as the shown below, this will be very unsafe for you to use, as the wheel is not contacting the face of the spacer, only the hex head. Driving in this case may result in wheel breaking the stud off, with extreme vibration and tyre wear. Centerbore alignment is very important, and here is how we machine the size of our spacer. If you car has a Centerbore of 56.1mm, our adapter will be made 56.2mm roughly, with .1mm clearance will allow the spacer to fit on to your hub. When you do make a purchase and you want to have the clearance of the .1mm, just tell us the exact measurement. However if your wheel has a Centerbore of 56.1mm, we will make the hub centric lip to be 56.1mm or slightly smaller (less than .1mm difference). Simply because normally the wheel CB is slightly larger to allow the wheel to fit. If your Centerbore height is more than the spacer, it means you will either have to go with spacer without hub centric lip or us thicker spacer. As our hub centric spacer need to have taper to allow the change of center bore size. Please refer to following photo for issue you may come across if you don't check your Centerbore height. Inner taper will be in the way. For Example if your Centerbore height is 12mm, you will have to go with 15mm spacer as minimum, if your Centerbore is 15mm tall, you will have to go with 20mm spacer. If your bore does not look anything similar to the photo shown below, send us a photo with as many dimensions included as you can, so we can try to determine how we can go about this.
