Description: This is a Westmoreland salt shaker in the American Hobnail pattern with cobalt blue coloring likely manufactured in the 1950s. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks in the glass. The inside lid has some tarnishing. The odd feature of this shaker is a drip of something caught in the glass (see photos). In going to clean this piece, I found the drip is not on the surface but encapsulated within the glass! For a collector of flawed objects, this is a unique piece. Or simply display and turn the flaw to the wall. *Please note that vintage items come with wear and tear. I do my best to try and make any flaws with an item known to customers.
