Description: WELLER Art Deco Roma pattern vase, three piece mixed lot with low candle holder & small footed bowl The star of this three piece lot offering is the Art Deco Roma pattern Vase. Its tall rectangular panels are decorated with clusters of grapes and grape leafs, rendered in light matte washes of red, orange, and green. The shade and treatment of the throat of the vase is classic Art Deco. This vase is approximately 8 7/8 inches tall, it is approximately 3 3/4 inches square and the shoulder. The low candle holder is done in a matte peach colored glaze.The base is approximately 5 1/4, by 4 inches. The little bobeche has two scrolls. This candle holder is in very good condition, it does have the typical crazing in the glaze, but there are no chips or cracks. This will make a nice replacement piece. The third piece is a low bowl very much in the design lines of a Weller Roma pattern, but we can't attribute it to this design pattern with any certainty. It is the same buff cream colored glaze with two clusters of roses connected by ribbons colored in a pale blue stain. There are also three thin bands below the rim, in a rust red. These red bands are inconsistent and the color drops out in some areas. This bowl sits on for short feet. One of the feet has a chip on the bottom, resulting in a slight wobble. This little bowl is approximately 6 inches in diameter, approximately 2 1 /2 inches tall at the rim. If you are a collector of Weller Pottery, the vase alone in this lot is worth adding to your collection.
