Wedgwood Sage Green Jasperware Vanity Trinket Box & Pin Tray Mid Century 1950s

Here are two vanity items in Wedgwood's Sage Green Jasperware with a Greco Roman motif. The fancy edged circular box measures 4-3/4 inches in diameter and is 3 inches tall including lid. The pin tray measures 4-1/8 inches wide and is 2-7/8 deep, with a 3/8 inch canted rim. There is a manufacturing flaw in the lid. The picture shows what appears to be a bubble in the clay that burst in the kiln. I found conflicting information about seconds, some saying Wedgwood refects all seconds and others saying some seconds are sold in a Factory Store somewhere in the UK. Whatever the case may be, this box definitely has a factory flaw. Both pieces are in otherwise excellent 1950s vintage condition with no chips, flakes, bites, nicks or cracks. There may be some scuff marks. All are marked Wedgwood, Made in England on back. Winning bidder will receive the actual item pictured. Please review the photos for a complete description.
