Description: A beautiful glossy finish, cased PEACHBLOW bud VASE attributed to Thomas WEBB & Sons - with decoration in the style of Jules Barbe. (Ref: Peachblow Glass - by Sean and Johanna S. Billings). Jules Barbe established and headed the gilding and enameling workshop at Webb's factory in Stourbridge, England from 1878-1890. This pretty little vase has an interesting shape - a bulbous, oval body - wider side to side than deep - with a tapered neck. The color is striking - a deep "blood" red at the top gradually fading to a pastel pink at the bottom - with a white interior - smooth, polished pontil - Hand decorated with branches of GOLD flowers with white enamel highlights. Measurements: 5.5" tall, 3.5" wide body side to side, 2.75" front to back Images sell!
